"When We Meet Again" (海森堡的約定) is my second original single, composed and written by myself. It was an absolute joy to collaborate once again with such a passionate production team, guided by my producer and vocal mentor, Abigail Snow, with Fasteam Training Stage.
A special highlight goes to the extraordinarily talented Winnie Liew for the music arrangement. Her arrangement breathed a whole new soul into the track, elevating the story to a completely different dimension and giving my emotions the room to fully soar.
The title references Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, a physics concept that mirrors the unpredictability of human life. Beyond quantum mechanics, this song represents a temporal bridge: a message to my younger self from ten years ago.
If I could travel back in time, I would tell him that everything will be fine, to keep holding on, and to never give up on his dreams. Life, much like quantum states, is full of uncertainty, but every choice leads us to exactly where we are meant to be.

Returning to Qactus Studio KL felt like coming home, but with an elevated experience in their beautifully upgraded live room. Working in such an aesthetically inspiring environment with top-tier gear made the entire recording process an absolute luxury, capturing every nuance of the vocals effortlessly.
This song also marks my very first challenge in writing Cantonese lyrics, a process far more intricate and demanding than Mandarin due to tone and rhythm constraints, but immensely rewarding with my mentor's guidance. Inspired by the Uncertainty Principle, the track touches on timing, memory, and connection, serving as a heartfelt dialogue with time.
Shot entirely in a studio setting, the visual concept centers on quiet introspection and effortless grace. With eyes closed, the imagery captures a space of inner monologue and unbridled imagination, a gentle, candid dialogue with oneself away from the noise of the outside world.
